| MEET OUR CRITICAL CARE TEAM MEMBERS
The Aero medical teams are comprised of two to three member teams and are based on the patients’ medical condition. The “full team” is a three member team including a Physician and is used for the most critical and unstable patient or for special transports like Neonates, Pediatrics and maybe utilized on the longer International transports. The typical team is a two member team consisting of only the highest critical care trained members. The medical director will arrange a team based on the patients medical condition. The teams are comprised of Critical Care Registered Nurses (CCRN), Critical Care Flight Nurses (CCFN), Critical Care Paramedic (CCEMTP) and, Registered Respiratory Tech. (RRT).
Medical operations and staff are supervised by our Medical Director, Dr. Thomas MD, an emergency medicine board certified physician. Team members receive additional training in Aero Medical physiology, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Critical Care for the patient that are severely ill or injured. Members have at least three years of critical care experience have logged hundreds of medical flights and have extensive international experience performing Aero Medical Transports.
